Viewer engagement. 

I admire the concept behind these portraits-- How light can engage the viewer and force us to see the unseen. I find myself imagining what these people look like. It forces a narrative through light & shadow. For me, this is the essence of all great photography.

Agree. I'm actually imagining their eyes, noses, eye brows, and I think the pictures in my mind are pretty funny. I hope you reveal their faces soon. :)

Thank you for the article. I'm glad people like my pictures.
The first image is a selfshot, I cuted my hair because I did not wanted anyone to know it was me (it was for a school project, made with small neons)
Then I borrowed two box flashes and made some other with different people.
